ClassJuggler Dance Conference Scholarship Winner Announced!

We wish to congratulate the winner of our DanceTeacherWeb Live Conference & Expo scholarship contest: Lisa Miller of The Art of Dance & Ballet Academy of Placentia, California. As the winner, ClassJuggler will be covering the costs of her conference entry fees at this popular dance conference coming this July to the beautiful Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.

Lisa tells us this will be her first time for attending the Dance Teacher Web Live conference. "We're pretty excited about this conference," Lisa admits. "We are a fairly new school, and hope to gain many benefits from attending."

The Art of Dance & Ballet Academy, in its third year, is already teaching a wide variety of dance styles to its Placentia area students, including hip-hop, ballet, modern dance, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical dance styles, as well as tumbling. The studio has been using ClassJuggler since January 2011, and the school leaders have become real fans.

Mass Class Copy Is The EASY Way To Start Your New Session

Spring is upon us and for many of you that means the start of your Summer season is near and a new set of classes are scheduled to begin. You may already know about ClassJuggler's ability to copy a single class by using the Copy Class button within a single class, but did you know you can actually copy multiple classes with just a few clicks of your mouse?

The Mass Class Copy tool allows you to select one or more classes of any status to copy to new inactive class records. This is particularly useful if you regularly repeat classes each session, season, or year. The copy class feature saves so much time since it creates an exact duplicate of the old class (down to the instructor, pricing table, and schedule) minus the enrolled students. Future versions may even allow you to carry forward the enrolled students from session to session. You'll find the Mass Class Copy tool under the Tools main menu.

How to Run The Mass Class Copy Tool:
Copying one or more classes is performed in three simple steps:

• Click on Select Classes to select one or more current or historical classes in your database from which to copy.
• Make changes to the short name, long description, begin date, end date, and session/group for each of your selected classes.
• Click on Copy All Selected Classes to begin the copy process.
